I'm just amused at how many Muslims I've seen that are for Trump, it kinda ruins the narrative.
I don't know if you noticed, people like the narratives. Trump is a fascist meme is a great one too. Particularly because it echos back to the 2nd World War. It allows people to feel fulfilled like something they've done in their lives matters. Hence the popularity of it despite all evidence to the contrary.

If 1% of American Muslims voted for Trump, that would still give him 33,000, a not inconsiderable number. George Wallace got 3% of the nonwhite vote, and he wasn't even a main party candidate. Being a total shithead and Islamophobe does not preclude getting Muslim votes.

It is a powerful tool to mobilize support though. I can see why it might be used to great effect. I'm not a Trump support by any means, I'm just trying to show the other side of the coin.

Rhetoric often speaks louder than official stances. I put Trump in with Orban, Erdogan, Putin, et co.

Protection from radical muslims and people who view him as not just a Muslim or a Liberal opponent but a Liberal Muslim (regardless if he is or not) may be a high priority for people like this.

Ask yourself:
What is the symbol of Fascism?
What does that symbol mean?/What is the message that it sends?
Then do the math

Shocking as it may seem not everyone who mentions working towards the common good is a fascist.

Well the narrative needs to be ruined. The view towards Hillary and Trump the media sells is beyond retarded. HIllary really is a War Hawk Neocon and Trump is a National Liberal with corruption and incompetance being more of an issue with him than the "bigotry".
The amount of times I've defended Trump outside of the internet to friends and Family is mind boggling. Pretty much everyone thinks I'm going to vote for him and is annoyed at me for it even though I've told them over and over I like neither of them and I'm not voting.
I can't wait for it to be over just like anyone else. But the pestering is going to continue once they're President. Uuuuuuuugh
