I am not so sure about that. It's not as bad as the Hoover years of the Great Depression. No tent cities here or bonus armies converging on DC yet. I think they lose and then most chicken out on all the big talk about revolution. They really aren't what ISIS is to Iraq either. Bet most of them back off and calm down and just blather on about the internets. The main threat IRL will likely be assassination attempts.

I'm still kind of hoping for another surprise video release, since they're apparently out there, just not being put anywhere.

There are a few sources of dirt on Donald Trump which won't get released. Howard Stern for example, refuses to go back into his archives and retrieve any potentially damaging audio from Trump. If someone else has radio recordings they can release it, but it is impossible to get it from the official source. My guess is that Stern considers himself a radio professional who calculates that he might want Trump to eventually come onto his radio show again for whatever reason, if the occasion were to present itself. So he holds the confidentiality of all of his guests in high regard.

Looking at the demographics of the electorate, even understanding how unpopular Hillary is...I'm not fully convinced that she could've been beaten by Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio in a General Election. Things would be closer, I mean...how could it not be closer? But, would Ted Cruz have fired up young people or black people? Doubtful. Would Marco Rubio get out the women's vote with his draconian views on abortion or latinos with his lack of backbone on immigration? I don't think so.

Hillary Clinton isn't a great candidate, and frankly...Bernie Sanders wouldn't have been a great candidate either. As much as I agree with his ideas, I think there is a reason he lost the primary. There are enough older voters and middle of the road voters in America, who have a much more negative view of socialism (just the term, not the ideals) than younger Americans. Given that they actually turn out to vote in higher numbers...that'd be an issue. Not only that, but I'm sure a Rubio or Cruz campaign would do a much better job with opposition research than Trump has.

But my point is....Democrats should have always had a slight advantage in the 2016 election, and they'll have an edge in 2020 when every millennial will be of voting age. You put generic Democrat up against generic Republican, and the Democrat...if models are to be believed...should be leading by 2-3 points. Now I think that when you look at the type of candidate that Republicans are willing to nominate, or rather who got the most votes after Trump this year...Cruz, Rubio, and Kasich...One is an extremist with ridiculously low favorability and believes in conspiracy theories, One is a charismatic craven extremist pretender, and the other is a George Bush in Jeb Bush clothing and actually has a pretty not so good record in Ohio.

I think 2020, if Hillary can manage to...not be as awful as her detractors think she'll be...then she'll be fine. 2024, might be a bitch...because eventually the GOP will change and learn from their mistakes....in theory. It's what the Democrats did in 1992.

Ted Cruz wouldn't win but I think Rubio would of had a shot at least. Kasich no doubt would won hands down in my opinion. The Democrats though I expect will change to an extent as well and will adopt some of Bernie Sanders ideas.

Clinton I believe will be a one term president because quite frankly, she will have a divided Congress and that is regardless of who wins. The GOP should learn after this but, I digress. I wouldn't be surprise they nominate someone weak again despite her not being that strong of a candidate.

We will see a shift in ideologies in both major parties. Whether it will be for the better or worst remains the question. The bigger questions are, will the GOP learn or will they become the party of Trump?

Kasich, is essentially, a less handsome and less rich Mitt Romney. Clinton would've hit him for his work with Lehman brothers, which would've negated the Wall Street Speeches. Clinton would hit him on his crack down on Abortion in Ohio. Clinton also probably would've got him on his...actually really fucking aggressive foriegn policy because I think he implied that he'd bomb North Korea. That's enough to make things close.

But again, Kasich would've had to fight Demographics. Because, he's just another Mitt Romney. Would Kasich have fired up Black People, Young People, or Women? I doubt it, given Ohio's record with policing, Kasich's opposition to raising the minimum wage, and again the crackdown on Planned Parenthood. The GOP ran Mitt Romney once, he lost. We only think Kasich would've won or that he's moderate is because compared to Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, he looked like a good candidate. But he wasn't, and I think he'd be trailing Clinton right now if all other things were equal.

I hate to talk about 2020 during 2016, But I don't see why she doesn't get the 2nd term. The GOP primary is going to be a clusterfuck, worse than this year. If she can appear to be less horrible than her detractors say she will be, then she might not be Obama popular...but she won't be current Clinton unpopular. The same reason Clinton should have 1 term, are the reasons Obama should've had 1. But demographics are on our side, and as long as the GOP is the party of cultural resentment...then we'll keep winning.
