I'm Protestant so naturally I attend and watch Protestant events. I haven't any idea about Catholicism or its teachings. I'm in a very Protestant, charismatic more specifically, part of the states.

So basically they're attempting to start a revival in Scandinavia?

Supposedly over 10,000 made the descision to follow Christ so I don't think the word "trying" applies anymore. The same group has visited The Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland with similar turnout and results.

I'm glad that these people are trying to win Europeans over to Christ, especially considering how secular and irreligious Europe seems to be compared to the U.S.

I suppose being heretical is still better than being non-Christian.

Are we Protestants still referred to as heretics?

No you're not a heretic. We might not agree with you on doctrinal things, but you're a brother/sister in Christ nonetheless. :)

You know "heretic" merely means "incorrect teaching", right?

According to you, Catholics would be heretics as well. It's not that terrible or weighty an accusation.

Did you know that during Shakespeare's time, the idea was proposed to have all Catholics wear silly looking hats to allow them to be identified in public. I wonder what that reminds me of...

It seems strange and invidious to compare an event that occurred before one that happened hundreds of years later in the future.

Bring you closer to it? Christianity is a choice, not a requirement. It's requirement to go to heaven, but if you don't believe in that, we won't make you be Christian.
