You can thank Trudeau for this actually. :3

His support of Syrian refugees made this happen.

While Trudeau's pro-refugee policy is something I admire, he has other problems, mainly that he doesn't acknowledge the ISIL genocide against Christians, as well as his near-militant support for abortion.

It's not against Christians, it's against Yazidis.

NDP has support for that and so does Conservatives.

It seems almost counterintuitive to say you're going to protect refugees, only to ignore an ENORMOUS GROUP that makes up many of the refugees. Then again, the American media seems to do a lot of that as well. It's almost like they don't want to say they are going to save the Christians, because they are afraid they are going to get lashed for it. Pure and utter cowardice.
Though I am glad Trudeau is allowing refugees into the country, he has a LONG way to go, before I respect him.

Many of the communities ISIS/Daesh has attacked were ancient Christian communities. The Christian communities in Syria and Iraq have shrunk incredibly, as a result, as they have fled from their homelands.

The UN report said Yazidis by name, and the Conservative bill only said Yazidis.

The EU unanimously recognized that Christians were the targets of genocide in ISIL held territories.

Canada is not in the EU and the dude who started this bill was only quoting the UN.

But that is concerning, I have emailed my member of parliament about this issue.
