Revelations is not the chapter you should take lightly in any biblical tome. The root of most sects comes from misinterpretations of Revelations.

Isn't the book of acts or leviticus the most misinterpretated book in the Bible? That's the books that atheists quote from again and again to show that the Bible is "promoting slavery" or "fearmongering people to fear God"? Whatever, the prophecies are obvious, easy to understand, people are saying that the book of revelation was written by a random lunatic to scare people.. They forget that if it was God wouldn't allow it in the Bible, afterall, in paradise we'll see golden stacks of Bibles..

New Testament revokes the ultimate harm and destruction of human beings through sin by the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. What Leviticus shows you are facts, but what Revelations show you are riddles and symbolisms. One should not take lightly and literally those riddles and symbolisms.

I don't take them literally, the Bible is known for it's metaphoricallicy (is that the right word?), I do however research the prophecies pretty heavily, I'm looking for all the opinions of that prophecy and I agree to the most compatible (that's not my hole research)

Metaphors.

Anyways, if you're trying to find one that is truly compatible, I suggest you research towards protestantism or catholicism, since both retain the most authentic versions of the Bible. There are other versions, but they are mostly used by sects.

Hey thank you, but as I say we will all see what opinion is right and what is wrong at the end, not intimidating intended.

Say what? Catholicism? Where you worship the pope as your holy father and pray to statues that the Bible forbids doing so? I don't have a problem with Catholics, but I do have with the pope and his Vatican, it's full of dirty stuff, research it and you'll feel disgusted, virgin Mary is crying up there in heaven because you worship her, that's why the statues are crying.. But I guess the Bible also forbids iconolatry, which Orthodoxs tend to practice.. A painting of Christ or a statue if virgin Mary will not enhance your religion, trust me..

Yeah, protestantism tends to be less corrupt than catholicism. I mean, they do focus a great deal on the Cross, though.

Well, I haven't researched protestantism yet to leave my opinions, probably a thing I should do soon..

But i guess Protestant or Orthodox, we're still not those Jehovah crazies, when where you made it to the "highest rank" you're a human God, HAH!

Research it. It's more austere and less materialistic. Priests do not have the power to cleanse from your sins; you yourself do.

He's a revolutionist. Although he may be a heretic towards corrupt catholicism, he is nevertheless a righteous founder of a clean Christian denomination.

Honestly, Orthodoxy is the closest you'll get to a Bible studying religion, the only negatives is that we worship idolatry, which God forbids, and we tend to have a stereotype where if you do good deeds to to other people you'll be saved, that's partly true, but alot of people that do this are not doing it by will, they are doing it because the church says so..

That's true. God weighs motives; he doesn't weigh outward acts. That was in the Proverbs somewhere, but I don't remember the chapter and the verse number.
