Of course, the Syrians are also Muslims, which is weird, because why would the violent Islamic hivemind dedicated to the destruction of western civilization be fighting itself?

75% of violent crime is committed by men. 95% of mass shootings are committed by men. Yet they're only about 49% of the populaton. Doesn't it concern you that less than half of the population is responsible for the overwhelming majority of violent crime and mass shootings in particular? Don't you think we need to stop kowtowing to men and institute some common sense male control? :)

I think crimes by women are under reported. That was my observation as an attorney in domestic cases. It was confirmed by law enforcement when i was worked with "troubled youth".

ISIS is still taken as a joke internationally. No governments would take them seriously were it not for the fact that they're a security threat for the entire Middle East region and can cause problems on a global scale with regards to terrorism.

The Kurdish portion of Iraq and Syria does not have a formal state on the map, but they arguably are much more of a state than ISIS is. The Kurds are more organized, can govern on an autonomous basis, and their Peshmerga is militarily far more powerful. But most importantly, they have a somewhat realistic path to actually getting an independent state in the long term. ISIS has nothing going for it in comparison.

Surely infighting within Islam proves that not all Muslims are extremists?

Not all Muslims are extremist, but infighting does not prove a lack of extremism, as it is often extremists killing other extremists.

Sure, in this case, but the point is infighting does not prove a lack of extremism, it is an indicator of extremism.

1. There is such thing as a joke.
2. Yes, in a sense, it is useful for people to try to figure out why males are the overwhelming perpetrators of violent crime. Thing is, Islam was violent from the start, and it is written into the Koran. It is an inherent part of World Islam. Violence could theoretically be a natural part of being male, in which case we would have to look at male and see what to do.

Where is it in the Qu'ran that states Islam is violent?

And that might actually be noteworthy, if not for the fact that you just pointed out yourself how ludicrously low the number of 'terrorism deaths' are. So tell me again how the 'serious people' know this is an obvious existential threat.

Ok. You're entitled to the view that terrorism is over-hyped. I was just saying that if we assume terrorism to be a problem, Islamic terrorism would be the key issue to solve.

Also, if Clinton and Obama were so worried about mass killings, they'd start some Common Sense Islam Control.

Implying "Common Sense Islam Control" wouldn't just provoke more terrorism.

Why would we need increased police presence in Muslim communities, anyway? Won't it provoke more harm than good?

I still don't get why we have to make this a bigger fuss than it should be. Yet prejudice and anxiety can exaggerate the issue even more.

K. So terrorism is not something that we should try to find a solution to? There are ways of solving it. There are not ways of solving forces of nature.

This is why we can't let refugees into our country. Potentially bringing terrorists with the. Infact, I think we should just ban Islam and deport it.
I'm a Fascist and i believe the constitution should be suspended. All enemies of the state should be rounded up and permanently deported.
