There was this Chinese Language Class teacher (she was fucking insane) who left to go to the bathroom constantly (for like 30 minutes sometimes). And we would just fuck with her shit.

She had these stuffed disney characters she would use for teaching.

So one time when she was out we would arranged them in various sex positions.

The Language classes in particular, I don't know where they get these people. But they're always just incompetent beyond belief.

How can one reconcile Buddhism with Islam as equally valid traditions when there are Buddhists who worship devas, while Islam preaches shirk is one of the worst sins one can commit?

Some believe the Devas are merely aspects of a Higher Godhead.

Same with Hindus.

While some Mahayana sects claimed certain devas or kami were manifestations of a particular Buddha or bodhisattva, they never held devas to be permanent deities who embody a higher reality. Just supernatural beings with psychic powers that ended up dying and being reborn. At least one Vajrayana myth told of a deva who had to pray to a dakini to avoid being reborn as a pig when his time in heaven was up. Though a lot of Hindus hold devas to be impermanent beings as well who die and are reborn (see Indra and the ants) but still embody Godhead.

You still haven't answered my question how you reconcile these. Several Theravadin pray to guardian deities who they do not view as permanent or aspects of Brahman, just impermanent beings who protect the Dharma.
