Kicked off the ballot in Pennsylvania yesterday. That's a 'sore loser' law since he contested the Dem nomination, the same should apply in Texas. Can't get on the ballot in California.

He's on the ballot in NY and FL but it won't be enough. He won't be eligible for 270 EC electors so his mathematical chance of winning is zero.

Almost zero. If all candidates fell below 270, and he won at least one elector, the house could vote to make him president.

I don't know who I am really going to vote for yet, but I've checked out Evan McMullin and he seems like a decent candidate.

Part of the appeal I find in voting for him is that he is an independent, the same as me. However, he leans towards the right, and I'm a radical centrist, but I think I can get behind most of his stances.

They'll cover him when he says something particularly obnoxious or offensive because it gets ratings, but the mountain of scandals surrounding him? That would've super fucked us and got us exactly the same result, just much quicker. Clinton was always leading in the polls and so was Trump. If we would've all voted in maybe March...It would've all been a lot less close.

ALSO, while we're at it. There's literally no reason to vote on a damn Tuesday in November. It's not in the constitution, it's just an arbitrary day from the 19th century. Why are we not voting on a Saturday? No reason. None.

This history on that is actually quite interesting. It's not arbitrary, although the original valid reasoning no longer applies.

It's interesting. I had a vague notion that Saturdays weren't used because they're the Jewish sabbath (and Sunday obviously not either) and that's apparently true. Primary elections are often held on Saturdays now, I guess primary voting isn't seen as such a fundamental right.
