I'm hoping for a lot of this, yeah. Preferably with a little "In an interview with (blank) back in (month), you said (blank)" (preferably accompanied by a video clip of the statement in question) sprinkled in. Given the fuss people made over Matt Lauer's reluctance to fact-check Trump on live TV, I could imagine NBC making a major effort to avoid the same criticism.

If he holds Trump to the same standards he held Pam Bondi to, then we're in for a treat.

I'd actually like to see more public involvement in the primaries, not less. And more regulation to ensure that primaries are conducted fairly (at present, they're pretty much controlled by the parties and at the state level).

As their are only two major parties, the primaries are usually the voters' only chance to have more than two viable choices.

As opposed to simply having a small number of party insiders pick the new leader in obscurity.

I'd like to see the primary be a one day affair, just get it over with.

That would've super fucked us and got us exactly the same result, just much quicker. Clinton was always leading in the polls and so was Trump. If we would've all voted in maybe March...It would've all been a lot less close.

ALSO, while we're at it. There's literally no reason to vote on a damn Tuesday in November. It's not in the constitution, it's just an arbitrary day from the 19th century. Why are we not voting on a Saturday? No reason. None.
