But it's still significantly smaller than the lead in question.

I never said that she did not have a lead, I just think she does not have a double digit lead. It is probably one of those weird outlier polls, kind of like the USC polls. I say she is up by 5-7 points.

I am wondering, how do you guys think the gaffe of the weekend affected Trump among the religious population in America?

Gotta love that this sinks Trump yet he gets away with everything else he freaking said all year.

Though to be fair, I don't think he ever gained much support, Clinton just lost it...and presumably gained it back again. Now Trump is losing his. Because being asshole racists to Mexicans and Muslims isn't enough, sexual assault is.

The power of name brand recognition lost Bernie the election. Clinton Brand Politics™ has been around for decades, and people went into the booth, saw her name, and voted without considering positions.

Wonder if we'll max out another before this election is over.
"Our progress in degeneracy appears to me to be pretty rapid. As a nation, we began by declaring that "all men are created equal." We now practically read it "all men are created equal, except negroes" When the Know-Nothings get control, it will read "all men are created equal, except negroes, and foreigners, and Catholics." When it comes to this I should prefer emigrating to some country where they make no pretence of loving liberty -- to Russia, for instance, where despotism can be taken pure, and without the base alloy of hypocracy." - President Abraham Lincoln.

The Utah governor took back his endorsement, and Mormons seemed reluctant to support Trump anyway, so that may go over badly in that state.

Trump hung himself. Hilary didn't have to do a thing, at times she explained more than she actually had to.
As a Canadian, i feel much better about this election. At this point its just the Trumpettes left.

What I'm seeing right now is more of "Trump has said horrible things but Clinton will do Horrible things"

Literally at this Point Trump would have to promise to swear in on the Satanic bible and promise mandatory abortion to truly lose the religious nut crowd.

They're willing to accept an asshole for President as long as the asshole does the things they want him to do.
They know for a Fact that Hillary Clinton will never do what they want.
They aren't 100% sure if Trump will sell them out.

If Trump had ran on Family Values like a normal Republican it would have doomed him for good, but he didn't.

You'd better believe I'm a bitter Bernie Sanders supporter. The Dems fucked up and fucked up hard. Hopefully they'll learn that neoliberalism and maintaining the status quo isn't the way to win this election or any other one. I doubt they will, though.

This combined with Mike Lee, Gary Herbert, and Jason Chaffetz retracting their endorsements in the aftermath will really hit hard with Mormons. Mormons, as opposed to most evangelical protestants, more often hold constistent to their morality. Many in the evangelical community may just shrug this aside, pretend it didn't happen, and vote Trump.

Geuss the electoral college result. If two posters guessed the same, the one who posted their prediction first wins.

The prize of course, is a big fat nothing.

EDIT: My first punt: Landslide for Clinton

375 Clinton (as per map, the blue in Nebraska is NE-2)
163 Trump
