US General Election Thread IV: The Beginning of the End

Who was it said the campaign wouldn't be run by fact checkers? I don't remember if it was a Romney talking head or Palin.

Is it wrong to admit that I miss Mitt, too?

I wouldn't want him as President, but I wouldn't be anywhere near as worried if he won than Trump. And, in truth, he probably WOULD have beaten Hillary, if it had come to that.

I'd say its 50-50. All depends on if Trump can clinch NH, Nevada, and Florida. I see Ohio and Iowa as likely Trump, but those 3 states are hella important. The only other route to a Trump victory would be a win in Colorado, and a loss in NH, which he could do.

I don't see him winning Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, or Virginia, if we can be real, so he has a path to victory, and I'd say its about 50-50 right now fam.

Even now, Clinton could win, it all boils down to the number of protest votes for Johnson and some small swing states.

Basically Donald was going to win all along I knew it.

Basically the establishment is immoral because of globlization and neoliberalism and because of that we all now have to accept that donald trump is a necessary evil. Anyone who doesn't is a dickwad.

It would be a damning comment if a documented bullshit and con artist who makes up facts on the spot ends up winning.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

I don't think Trump can keep on this path. He's been able to avoid major controversies for the past three weeks, but given his past history and the fact that he won't have a teleprompter during the debates - he will screw up.

I'd say Colorado or NM is more likely to go Trump than NH (though I haven't recently looked at the state polls). I see Iowa as fairly Trump too, and possibly Ohio as well. Florida... is tricky to work out. And yeah, I don't see him winning those other states.

I will say that I don't see it as 50/50 though. Hillary is still the front-runner, just not by any comfortable degree.

I don't like that my state South Carolina is going solidly Trump. It's not surprising, but he's Trump.

Agreed, but as much as I dislike Hillary, I would take her over Trump in a New York minute.

In the history of gaffes its nothing to really speak of. I prefer to disagree with Johnson due to his policy positions.

Eh, NM is a lost cause, its a blue state through and through because of its Latino population. As for NH, Clinton is ahead 3-5 points in aggregate polling.

When it comes down to it, it is very close, and Clinton has to capture Colorado and several other swing states to make sure she wins.
