"Empire"? The United States hasn't formally expanded its borders since the Guano Islands Act-(yes, that's its real name), and I can't think of a single reason why Hillary would WANT to do that.

Pneumonia can get much worse and bed-rid you for a good while.

I'd say it is definitely something that can ruin her campaign trail. Pneumonia is not this light thing that you can recover so easily from. It's a major issue, it's just not a terminal issue.

It is sometimes fatal, by 'comorbidity'. Basically if someone is very ill anyway the pneumonia can finish them off.

There might be a bright side to this: if Clinton recovers fully in the two weeks before the first debate, that proves she's not in poor health generally.

That's the same thing I am thinking. Clinton's physical health would be out of the question if she manages to have a speedy recovery.

Not going to happen. Pneumonia's not too bad. She looks like she'll leave active campaigning to her surrogates for 2-3 days and be back.

I got it once when I was 17. I was fully fit and in the best health of my life. It rekt me for a week. I can only imagine how bad it must be for her at her age. I would not wish that on somebody.
