Yeah, you're right. And if it gets even crazier (oh yeah!) another one besides that.
Donald Trump has no clue as to what "insuring the domestic tranquility" means

Ailiailia wrote:I voted "don't change the poll" ... only because I don't know what "change the poll" would be a vote for. What is proposed?

If the intention is for people to use one vote among candidates/other/undecided, and the other vote for change/don't-change, that should be made more explicit. As it is, some people will do that while others will vote their first and second preferences of candidates (which absolutely is going to inflate the Johnson, Stein and McMullin figures). Messy that, because there's no way to distinguish a first preference vote which would count in a real election and a second preference vote which wouldn't.

The way I'd change the poll is to get rid of the last two options (change/don't-change) and go back to one vote per user. Unambitious of me perhaps.

The proposal is that instead of reflecting only candidate prefences, or reflecting them at all, a question would be posed relating to the electorate, a current event, or an opinion on something. For example.

"How would you rate the effectiveness of the Trump Campaign?"

"What is Your Number 1 Issue in this election?"

"What is more bothersome, Trump's refusal to release his Taxes or Clinton's refusal to release Wall Street Speeches?"

"Which candidate would better handle Foreign Policy?"

"How enthusiastic are you about voting for your candidate?"

"Donald Trump recently said "insert quote", Do you agree or Disagree with that sentiment?"

"Hillary Clinton recently promised to "insert policy", Do you agree or disagree this proposal?"

Or something like that.

I suppose I should make that more clear

Pneumonia can get much worse and bed-rid you for a good while.

I'd say it is definitely something that can ruin her campaign trail and can definitely become a campaign ender. Pneumonia is not this light thing that you can recover so easily from. It's a major issue, it's just not a terminal issue.

It is sometimes fatal, by 'comorbidity'. Basically if someone is very ill anyway the pneumonia can finish them off.

There might be a bright side to this: if Clinton recovers fully in the two weeks before the first debate, that proves she's not in poor health generally.

Hence why I deliberately said it was a major issue.

It is a bad thing, it's just not terminal, meaning you're going to die or something and you're SOL.

I was a Bernie guy during the primaries, and firmly so, but now ImWithHer because the math is just unfathomable for Stein. The Greens are closer to my own positions, yes, but to build a real Green presence, you don't shoot for the Presidency or Senate. You spend years on city councils, state representatives and senators, and, maybe, a select US House seat or two if it's an open seat in a favorable area. Otherwise you're just tossing close seats to the GOP.
