Calling that cracker-box a stadium is pretty generous.

I heard the capacity is only about 30,000. That should be a bizarre spectacle.

For size reference, the next smallest capacity is the Raiders. And they still hold over 20,000 more fans.

That's 3,000 seats over.

At 27,000 seats, I believe it will be the smallest stadium even inhabited by an NFL team. The smallest ever I believe was when the Bears had to use Wrigley field a few times, and even that was 40,000 total.

But, as it was earlier pointed out, I don't know if they'll even fill 27,000. Unless they're SD Chargers fans coming just to curse Dean Spanos' name the entire time.

Saturday Prediction time:

I feel like no one is treating the Falcons like a #2 seed, but there's good reason for that. Recently, they have a history of failing to live up to their hype. However, Matt Ryan has been one of the most underrated players in the league this season. In addition, they get the Seahawks away from their 12th man homefield advantage. The Seahawks will make it tough, but I think the Falcons will pull it off by a score of 27-24.

The Texans have never won a game in Gillette Stadium, and they aren't about to begin now. If they want any chance to win, Lamar Miller is going to need to have a phenomenal game, and I just don't see it happening. This one's outcome will be clear by halftime. The Pats advance after winning 34-13.

Shows you how much attention I pay to MLS. Still, though. That's at least three California teams in every major sport (not to mention 5 in MLB).

Since tomorrow is the game, gonna throw my hat into the ring:

1.) Seahawks D has suffered a lot, since they lost Earl Thomas, but they knocked-off the Lions and their offense quite easily. Sure, people don't treat Atlanta like a #2 seed, but people are also forgetting that Seattle can still be a menace when it wants to be. Seattle over Atlanta.

2.) Kansas City and Pittsburgh is a wildcard, but I wanna see KC do it. They're underestimated as a team, as well, but they've shown that they can do it even without Jamaal Charles. Pittsburgh is strong this year, as well. I'd say KC wins in overtime.

3.) Pats and Texans...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAH!!!!!!!!!!

4.) Boys and Packers is gonna be a GAME. I say it'll be a shootout, but Rodgers is at the top of his game. I'd say he pulls it off here.

I want something like that with the Falcons-Seahawks game, actually, but that's not happening. Lol.

David Modell, the first President of the Baltimore Ravens and son of infamous sports owner Art Modell, has passed away at the age of 55. He had cancer for two years according to the team's statement.

Naturally, this tore open old wounds, with Browns fans tweeting "spawn of Satan" and "say hello to Adolf for me" amidst the outpouring of mourning from Ravens faithful. Way to be jackasses, fellas.

Any place called a center should not be hosting any sports played in stadiums. It sounds more like a place a shitty, small market NBA team would play, not a Los Angeles NFL team.

NBA teams knew Vegas would be a bad idea. I guess NFL teams aren't as smart.

For real. The NBA championship for the last two seasons have been between Oakland and Cleveland and everyone is loving it. Meanwhile, the NBA's biggest market teams, the Clippers, Lakers, Knicks and Nets are all either garbage or a let down.

Meanwhile, in the NFL, everyone is like "market size market size" not realising the lack of passion, horrible PR, etc

Los Angeles and New York teams, in my mind, never have the valuable underdog appeal.

Los Angeles and New York teams, in my mind, never have the valuable underdog appeal.

They're too concerned with money when there is no lack of it, and as a result they are sacrificing their images to something that really is not in danger of going away. Teams are reinstating coaches that need to be fired (Joey Porter) and allowing players (Greg Hardy and Josh Brown) to continue playing, for God knows what reason.

Size does not matter (or it shouldn't, anyway). New England is based in a tiny town outside of Boston. New Orleans is based in Metairie (also tiny), right outside of the biggest city in the state (New Orleans), but even that is smaller than, say, New York City. Green Bay is far from the biggest city in the state of Wisconsin. Same for Pittsburgh. Yet they all have huge fan bases.

And the moment a team forgets about its fan base, the moment everything else starts to go with it. The NFL wonders why it's having problems, and much lower viewing rates among football fans, this is why. And this is also why so many people prefer college ball to pro ball. Sure, college ball has its own problems, but college is at least somewhat good at paying attention to their fan bases.

Looks like it's happening. And Oakland is going to riot.

Are you starting to get concerned about the Jags?

Naturally, this tore open old wounds, with Browns fans tweeting "spawn of Satan" and "say hello to Adolf for me" amidst the outpouring of mourning from Ravens faithful. Way to be jackasses, fellas.

Sports fans are assholes. Not really a surprise to me.
