I actually don't mind Michigan, and I actually kinda liked them when they had Gardner at QB a few years ago. The one I dislike out of that conference is ~~Notre Dame~~ Michigan State.

Now LSU/Bama does not work. It just doesn't. It's like water and oil, they don't mix.

Strangely, my mom grew up in Pennsylvania as a nominal Steeler fan, then moved to Virginia and adopted the Ravens as her second favorite team. I've tried multiple times to explain to her why that doesn't work, but to no avail.

Maybe it's kinda like being a fan of Hitler and Stalin at the same time, but I have encountered some people here on NS that certainly are.

Oh. And as far as whether it's the Ravens or the Steelers that equal Hitler... I'd have to say Adolf lost the war, so which ever Ravens/Steelers loses the last game between them is Hitler (like a game of tag, you're it).

The other issue that comes up now that the Bengals are winning the division once in awhile (but nothing else) is who's synonymous for the Bengals? I
am guessing that would be Hirohito. The emperor, like Marvin Lewis, no matter what happens (Hiroshima/Nagasaki), will be there for next to forever.

As for the between a rock and a hard place Browns, they are probably embodied by 1939-1989 era Poland. You recall, the war was finally declared bc of the invasion of Poland in September 1939. But when the allies eventually won, Russia had switched sides from axis to allies and had Poland. Browns seem like that kind of deal, don't it?

Those uniforms were good for losing first 26 games in a row between 1976 & '77. Wonder if the Bucs will be wearing a commemoration patch this year.

Does anyone know who the Bucs got their first win against after starting second season 0-14?

I'm a Broncos fan out of sympahy for my pet US state, good old 'Rado. Unfortunately even pay TVs here in Italy apparently neglect them: last game I saw was the one vs the Colts at Mile High. I lost the win at Cincy and will also lose the broadcast of the next game. Both of them didn't/will not air.

In short, being an Italian NFL fan can be fucking depressing.
