We have awesome Offense, Brees is amazing even when he throws picks...and then our D got...erm...essentially Davonta Freeman doused our D in gasoline and lit it up. It don't matter how good your D-line is, if your secondary is not doing its job (glares at TommieLee Lewis and Sterling Moore) you gonna lose every time.
Imma keep watching the games, though. Something will give eventually. It always does. Maybe when Delvin Breaux gets better.
Y'all can still win that division, but you didn't make it any easier.
The strongest divisions so far are the NFC East and AFC West who are both 8-4. The NFC South and AFC South are both 4-8. All other divisions are 6-6. The Patriots are the only team with a lead of 2 or more games over the rest of their (our) division![]()
Thus foiling part 1 ofJetGoodell's master plan.

I needed this optimism. Thank you, Trumpo. It's football fans like you that keep me coming back to this thread.

I have a soft spot for the Saints, since they too are victims of a Goodell power trip. And ironically, wasn't it the commish himself who led the attempted coverup of the domestic abuse scandal?
The awesomest Saints moment for me is still the Saints-Irsays Super Bowl with the onside kick at the start of the second half.

I too, have a soft spot for New Orleans. I've been a Brees fan since his San Diego days, and when he went to the Saints, and they started to do well in the wake of Katrina, I couldn't help but cheer them on. If I wasn't a Pittsburgh fan, I'd be a Saints fan. There's just something about that black and gold color scheme

I count myself in as a potential Saints fan. For me it was the day Tom Dempsey kicked the 63 yard FG versus the Lions the old Stadium. I was the season after the Baltimore Colts won SB V. Dempsey broke the record by 7 yards! It was an unbelievable feat (pun intended). And Tom had a deformed foot. Always liked the Saints after that, and besides I was raised Catholic. After the Colts left town, the Saints were the main team I rooted for bc of that. Hang in there Lum.

My high school's nickname was the Saints, and they were my "NFC team" until Seattle changed conferences, especially when they were in the same division as my best friend's favoured Niners.
Also, if you could contact your hoodoo/voodoo friends and send some heals for Russell Wilson, I'll owe you a beignet.

It was the season after the Baltimore Colts won SB V vs Dallas. Dempsey broke the existing record by 7 yards! It was an unbelievable feat (pun intended). And Tom had a deformed foot. Always liked the Saints after that, and besides I was raised Catholic. After the Colts left town, the Saints were the main team I rooted for bc of these reasons. Hang in there Lum.
