Calm down, Bailey. You'll frighten someone. That's Crane's job.

Not yet does it reek of disappointment.Dagashi wrote:I've become a lot more sympathetic to Communism recently after learning that "withering away of the state" doesn't mean an end to national governments, but merely the state as a class entity.
Nations, as in the kind with specific borders, don't exactly exist in communism.

They certainly can continue to have borders, for the sake of national self-determination. Not to mention that the socialist states, while allowing immigration, were absolutely opposed to immigration that threatened the collective consciousness of the nation.

How can a border be maintained/recognized without a state?

Emperor Joker kills Batman about every way possible at least once, and keeps bringing him back. He even gets bored of it after a while.

Everytime I think about Joker it reminds me of Suicide Squad and how shit of a movie it is compared to the god like New 52 comics. Makes me want to shit bricks. I don't get it, free marketers how come shit movies like Suicide Squad succeed in the market when critiques slam the movie? Isn't the free market suppose to improve movie quality? The V O I D wrote:Oh! I would rather see Sinestro again then Emperor Joker.

Y'know, Batman asked the Morbius Chair (a chair with all knowledge in the universe and can give you any information you ask it while sitting in it) who the Joker really was. It apparently revealed that there are *gasp* three Jokers. Not one.
Which makes canonical sense. Golden Age Joker was more like the Suicide Squad one the movie showed; a criminal mastermind who led a gang, was a bit whimsy and a bit psychotic without overdoing it. Silver Age Joker was a whimsical madman who only wanted to get money and steal shit, and get rich doing it; using whimsical gags rather than violence to do it. Bronze Age / Modern Age Joker is a total psychopath whose entire world revolves around the Bat and killing him or hurting him, or making him have One Bad Day; he also tends to just kill anyone and anything who is in his way, and manipulate just about everyone else.
Which Joker do you think Joker from Suicide Squad is, of the three apparently independent and not-the-same person Jokers? I think it's golden age, like I said, but I want to know what you think.

Brozne Age joker sounds like Heath Ledger
Golden Age is definately Suicide Squad
BTAS Joker and Jack Nickelson's Joker is probably the Silver Age one.

Maybe a bit of bronze and gold. I just never felt it was an intelligent one, strong, yes but intelligent, no. Whole film was underwhelming.
