Is it werid that I voted monarchism, I mean I saw the word monarch and instantly went for that.

I believe I should have the Freedom to say whatever I like no matter how offensive without negative consequences ( free to criticise me though ).
And do as I like with in the confines of the law.

Pros: Meritocracy, Monarchy, Egalitarianism, free speech and free expression (Most of these are a given)

Cons: Feminism, people who put feelings before fact, and Islam also people who think the "Guilty until proven innocent" mentality is acceptable.

Why?

I live in the commonwealth, plus I see the monarch as more of figure head that inspires the people, but to me it's a bit contradictory seeing as I support meritocracy.

I don't see what's inspiring about a monarchy - especially not anything limited to a monarchy. And inspires them to what?
Felrik wrote:but to me it's a bit contradictory seeing as I support meritocracy.

Yes, it is contradictory.

Generally if your born in the Commonwealth you will end up loving the British monarchy, well an example would be when the monarchy calmed down the British people in face of the blitz, although I could be getting my facts wrong, you could say that I support the monarchy being out side the rest of society and so meritocracy doesn't apply, I don't know that's just me.
