Since my high school was all-boys, the atmosphere on campus was very laid back and there were no girls to fight over, so everyone just sort of bro'ed out. Also, when you're in an all-male environment, there is so much shit you can get away with saying that you could never do when girls around.

The cafeteria banter was absolutely legendary.

I went to an all boys school that liked to hire radical feminist faculty.
Seeing people get their head ripped off and then punished for joking comments along the lines you hint at was a daily occurrence.
