Historic American immigration law included provisions for deporting foreign communists, who were primarily Jews and Italians.

To be fair, this wasn't without justification, because immigrant communists and anarchists were a major source of terrorism from the 1890s to the 1920s.

I went to school in an area with a Catholic private school nearby. Which one had more problems with drugs and sex? The Catholic High School or the Public one? The answer we're looking for is the Catholic. It was scandal after scandal.

Believe me I know. There's a reason serious Catholics are increasingly homeschooling instead of messing with those schools. Apart from just cost. There are a few good ones though.

I am not familiar with the internal workings of such schools beyond that which I heard. The kids who did wrong were readmitted. Had I committed what they did in my own school, I'd have been expelled. I think this is because of the $16k price tag they had on them (paid every year). Therefore the school had no reason to really enforce standards if that makes sense.

On the other hand, there was a charter school opened one county over. They had discipline and managed to throw out the rule breakers (after 2 or 3 offenses). They later became one of the best schools in State.

I have no evidence beyond anecdotal for this though.

The later sounds a lot more reasonable and pragmatic.

That being said I like Catholic School Girl Uniforms though.

I have yet to actually see proof degeneracy actually exist. Of course heresy is a real thing, and people often use bolters to solve it. I would rather not be boltered.

Hushups mean they were probably far, far worse than you heard. It may have been tuition for a large part of it, and a large part of it may just have been the upper-middle class-y-ness of the place. And a hatred for enforcing their own rules. And etc.

Who said anything about buffoonery? Younglings should be introduced to the opposite sex under supervision of their elders to avoid awkwardness when seeking a spouse, but they should not start courting until they're ready to marry in order to prevent any awkward accidents.

And besides, if they don't have any practice 'courting' or whatever then yes, they are gonna look like fucking idiots when they try and do it for real. And what the hell is an 'awkward accident?'

Since my high school was all-boys, the atmosphere on campus was very laid back and there were no girls to fight over, so everyone just sort of bro'ed out. Also, when you're in an all-male environment, there is so much shit you can get away with saying that you could never do when girls around.

The cafeteria banter was absolutely legendary.

I went to an all boys school that liked to hire radical feminist faculty.
