I have spent most of my time in law, ministry, and college instruction.

Along the way I enjoyed some stints as night auditor at major hotels and motels. I worked construction (cement) around a working brick kiln. I made pet beds, and shipped them by rail. I made foam rubber car seat covers. I made steel office furniture. I was a caddie. I baled hay. I painted houses, I drove a school bus. I played piano and guitar professionally. I worked on a surveyor's crew (in rattlesnake country). I was a community organizer. I worked as cognitive/behavioral staff for disturbed teens. I was a reporter for a local paper.
