Or you could talk IN ALL CAPS TO CONVEY THE ABSOLUTE NEED TO BE HEEDED like Death does in the Discworld. That tends to strain the throat, though.

I think it's one of the perks of being an Anthropomorphic Personification. Which leads me to a thought...

If you were an Anthropomorphic Personification, which one would you embody?

Would you be 'Drunkeness'? Or would you be his brother 'Hungover?' 'Depression?' 'Uncertainty?' 'Justice?' 'Law?' 'Mercy?' Would you embody a particular ideology? And if so, what would you look like?

I always sympathized with Destruction in that story. Guy just wants to be left alone, with his dog, but events conspire against him. If I recall correctly anyways, it's been years since I read 'Sandman.' Before I took up with The Girl, that's what I would have picked, Being Left Alone, but now, I'm going to take a page from the book of Edmond Dantes and choose 'Providence.'
