I saw someone make a good point recently, which was that overall people seem more worried about the athletes visiting Brazil than the people living there.

It may be because some of these people are perusing their dreams and passion...and may get fucked over.

Earlier this week, Pele said that he was asked to light the cauldron by the organisers, however he had "an international commitment with an English company". The former footballer added that if he could change his travel plans it be an "honour" to carry out the task.
