No, just HRC.

Hillary will not be disastrous. People who say such things are kidding themselves.

I expect Clinton will be like Obama with more vigor and less bad foreign policy.

I disagree, but I'm not sure why you asked the question if you think you already know the answer.

I'm not sure how when they'll be exactly the same.

Clinton is far more supportive Israel, far more supportive of Saudi Arabia, and would make deposing Assad a much greater priority in Syria (whereas Obama prioritizes eliminating ISIS over there, even to the extent of cooperating with Russia, something Clinton would never do). I also imagine, though this is more of a guess, she'd be a lot more hostile toward Iran.

He whose will and desire in conversation is to establish his own opinion, even though what he says is true, should recognize that he is sick with the devil’s disease. And if he behaves like this only in conversation with his equals, then perhaps the rebuke of his superiors may heal him. But if he acts in this way even with those who are greater and wiser than he, then his malady is humanly incurable.

Because she's strictly a partisan pandering to Saudi Arabia and Israel as opposed to trying to stabilize the region--in fact, if it's in their interests, she'd support making the region even worse. She'd also probably start supporting the House of Saud more against the Houthis.

Asking questions you already know the answer to is a waste of time for you and the person you're asking. And shouldn't all this discussion of the merits of different candidates go into the megathread? Hell, shouldn't this entire thread be rolled up into the General Election megathread?

I thought House of Cards was just a decent, if overrated television show, not a documentary.

That the only defense of the guy is "Well, he probably can't do all the ludicrous things he says" says it all really. Not that it's remotely true, he'll have the pen and he'll have the phone as Obama likes to say.

The same could be said for Hillary, we just have to hope and pray whichever one of them wins can't do anything.

A non-trump supporter (correct me if i'm wrong on this, WRA) making one point in defense of a trump presidency doesn't equate to 'the only argument'

Hillary might take a stronger stance against Assad. That is true. But I don't see how that's immoral or how that would extend the war longer than as much as Assad has been able to achieve on his own.

I know nothing about the Houthis.

DNC is not satisfied by merely controlling the message coming out of the NY Times. They was to run all the media.

Their inner workings are as democratic and transparent as Pyongyang.

And kowtowing to the policy urgings of Saudi Arabia and Israel has led us into deep trouble and gained us no advantage in the area.

Next stop: war against Iran?
