I'm guessing that's an RP that's already had friendships, tradition and everything in between established, so in between all the ruckus (if it's a busy thread) they didn't see your application or may be politely implying that you shove off. It's not personal at all and you shouldn't take it as such. It happens to everyone at some point.

I'd like to opt for a veritable baby prison until they hit two but I feel that's something social services would want to nose in about.
