If the allegation about milo tweeting fake tweet screenshots is true, i'd say that holds considerably more merit, and could be tantamount to libel if presented as serious tweets from the individuals in question.

Note however he wasn't banned for libel. I've merely ammended my position to say thy could have banned him, but not for the reasons they've given.

He was banned for violating the terms of service. No reason for Twitter to claim he did something criminal in the process. (That could open the road to legal troubles for the company)

Milo Yiannopoulos, controversial conservative commentator, was banned from Twitter recently. The above article implies it is related to his attacks on Ghost Busters actress, Leslie Jones.

What do you think NS? Righteous justice or repression of free speech.

Personally, I think its about time this hateful, bigoted person was banned, and hopefully other websites will follow.

The thing is, twitter is slightly bigger than nsg. When twitter goes on a banning run, prominent people won't jump ship. People have jumped ship from NS when the mods here have acted unreasonably.

First, Milo seems to think that people will jump ship, and second, they're not the only social media platform out there.

He only criticizes her work and her literacy, as well as calling her a caricature.

The decision to ban milo makes no sense when viewed in context.
