I doubt that even churches that don't allow for gay marriage would necessarily classify themselves as "looking down upon gays", and those that allow for same-sex marrIage (United Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, Baptists, Episcopalians, Lutherans, Presbyterians, and Methodists) are actually LGBT-affirming.

So if you force churches to marry gays it would be considered a violation of the constitution(Freedom of religion) which would be a good defense for the churches

Agreed, but here's the point: That isn't happening in America. That is happening in Denmark, where they have a state church, and said church has been instructed by the state to allow for same-sex marriages. In Denmark, there is no separation of church and state. What you're arguing seems to be that there should be a wall of separation between the two, and that's something that I agree with. However, in the United States, there is no serious movement to force specific denominations to solemnize same-sex marriages, nor should there be.
