What makes you doubt her ability?
The only problem I have with Warren is that she hails from a state with a republican governor who would fill her seat with a republican as soon as she left.

Only until a special election that, while not a sure Democratic win, would likely be one.
In any case, I'm willing to risk one Senate seat for a stronger Presidential ticket.
Besides, the VP casts the tie-breaking vote in the Senate.

Who wouldn't have been, besides secessionists and white supremacists?
You know, the people who are taking over the Republican Party now.
You need to stop with the hyperbole so much, I get you dislike Trump and all but the GOP is no more being taken over by white supremacists and secessionists (what does that even mean? the GOP isn't trying to dip out of the Union) than the Democratic Party is being taken over by communists.

She'll have to freeze out some qualified candidates. She must have considered them but people she can work with are going to come first.

Kaine certainly is. Booker is questionable. Warren really isn't. Other names that have been floated in different cases, well it varies. But so long as qualifications are a question, personalities and political appeal should take a rightful backseat. There aren't actually that many options she has that combine both traits well, but if she's not going to go for a combined appeal, then I'd prefer that she stick strictly to the first category.
And in that sense, Kaine and Vilsack (I'd pull slightly for Vilsack in that binary) are more than acceptable.
Booker is questionable?

I actually do find it good of them.
At least, if they're going to lose, let it be recorded that they didn't choose this.
I was kind of hoping for more bombast than he gave us, but I agree. And what happened with Utah? Trump got creamed there, yet he was given all their delegates.

Have you seen who the party nominated?

Policy should come before politics, substance before symbols. Warren wouldn't be the worst choice Clinton could make, but she's near the bottom of my list and I would regard it as a form of insubstantial pandering towards progressive voters myself.

I'm hoping this will help cost Trump Utah.
It'll be a glorious year if we can flip Utah of all places.

I've been hearing that a lot but all the polls I've seen barring one still have Trump winning by pretty fair margins (4-12 depending on the poll), seems strange to say it's Democrat-leaning.
