Johnson believes the only necessary campaign finance reform is a mandate of "100% transparency."[7]
In 2012, Johnson suggested that he would support the consideration of a public financing system for federal campaigns if elected. However, in 2016, he expressed opposition to a public financing system for federal campaigns.[35]
The differences in economic policy and philosophy between the socialist-leaning Sanders and the Libertarian candidate Johnson could fill volumes. One small part of the debate about politics and economics is a call for campaign finance reform. Both candidates supported turning over the Supreme Court’s decision in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission. Both candidates believe that more transparency is needed.

In fact, Johnson believes that complete transparency is the only regulation necessary when it comes to campaign finance. Sanders, on the other hand, calls for a complete overhaul to the system. He is a strong advocate of the notion, “one voice, one vote.” He has repeatedly claimed that our elections are being bought by billionaires.
Both men have several weeks before their respective parties elects their candidate for the Presidential election.

He supports people being able to donate as much money as you want to whatever cause but he strongly dislikes crony capitalism.

If you trust any word that comes out of Trump's mouth, you should trust Cuban - given that they're effectively running on the same merits.
I don't have any reason to trust Cuban. But then, fact-checking Trump shows that literally 96% of everything he says is untrue - so I think I'm erring on the right side of caution.
That wasn't your point at all. My point was that while being a successful businessman gives you a certain skill set and makes you more capable of dealing with the economy and even negotiating trades (including political ones), it doesn't include telepathy into other peoples net worth.
