Let me put it to like this: If we have to put up with you going on and on about how this is the greatest thing that's ever happened, you don't get to stick your fingers in your ears and start singing loudly when we disagree.

so are we ready to shut the fuck up, say sorry and beg for freedom of movement/single market or are we still doing the daily express thing
ask moderation about reading serious moderation candidates TGs without telling them about it until afterwards and/or apparently refusing to confirm/deny the exact timeline of TG reading ~~~ i hope you never sent any of the recent mods or the ones that got really close anything personal!

signature edit: confirmation has been received. they will explicitly do it before and without asking. they can look at TGs basically whenever they want so please keep this in mind when nominating people for moderator or TGing good posters/anyone!

Given that the Chancellor has explicitly said no to staying in the Single Market, I think we're not doing that.

The government has quietly launched a bold experiment using the technology behind the virtual currency Bitcoin - and, if anybody notices, it could prove hugely controversial. That is because the trial involves the payment of benefits and could conceivably involve very sensitive data being made public - or at least that's the concern of some critics.

Are you actually paying attention to the thread?

Or are you operating under the logic that "anything that disagrees with my interpretation is hyperbolic"?

...blockchain is interesting stuff but unless you're having some massive issue with disagreements on how much people were paid which can't be resolved by bank records (really shouldn't be) or are planning for completely cashless society ahead of banks (probably not), not really sure why this is to be useful. Banks will eventually probably be using it because it simplifys few stuff, but for DWP probably just small trial to make themselves look technically literate.

The decision to abolish the Department for Energy and Climate Change has been variously condemned as “plain stupid”, “deeply worrying” and “terrible” by politicians, campaigners and experts.

One of Theresa May’s first acts as Prime Minister was to move responsibility for climate change to a new Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy.

oh god i thought this was a joke
