They should actually do something this time.

In as much as they can actually do that with just nine MPs.

It would had been better if they decided to shut up, all this reminds people is of that time when they had the numbers to prevent a tuition fee rise they didn't.

Well if they're forcing a vote on it they can. However, I doubt it'll succeed, considering the whole Tory majority thing

I think that's one of the main reasons the lib dems are where they are right no, so I doubt everyone has forgotten

It's just a little bit late for the principle boomerang to return.

Yes. That is likewise hilarious. Problem is that our media and institutions are obsessed with preventing mockery of Islam, so the jokes have to be done by "grafitti" of sorts rather than in person.

Zombie Jesus is also funny.

Tying bacon to a synagogue or a mosque isn't funny. There's no joke there. Zombie Jesus is funny because it's an actual joke.

I'm going to assume "force a vote" means something will happen.

This? It's not funny, and was not intended to be funny. It's a pretentious work of art. According to it's Wiki page, it's not even a criticism of Christianity so it's not like it furthers your argument to mention it.

Do you mean Ben Chacko? He's editor of the Morning Star and always seems to be near Corbyn.

Seems the French president isn't keen on our new PMs approach to preparing before brexit, trying to use the situation to impact his reelection chances. So much for him being a socialist, or believing in European unity, unless he belives in a more Stalinist form of socialism. We may end up negotiating with a right wing French president, who would be more likley to cooperate with us.

Of course, he still wants us to cooperate on defence. I have to wonder if they worry about the possibility of having to face Russia without UK support, and if our government plan to use that during negotiations...

UK isn't that vital for fighting Russia, the US is but UK not so much.

why should he give a toss what we (or rather, the people who voted to leave) want?

Because supposedly our buying French wine is the only thing keeping their economy going. So clearly it's in their best interests to give us a trade deal we like.

Or a trade deal that works for both countries instead of putting political infighting ahead of their national interests.

Because UK is a super special snowflake and needs a snowflake deal, and not rolling over and giving that deal is clearly bullying.

UK's not that much. Russia would never attack France as they have nukes (more than us) and would never attack NATO anyway with the US. Sure UK helps but we are not absolutely vital.

And if Russia wanted to invade Europe, UK standing there wouldn't stop them
