I've spent enough time trawling through the same shit on Reddit to know that people offering relationship advice online is a recipe for disaster. If there's anything to consider, it's this: if you're not physically attractive or have a bit of money, don't bother trying.

I didn't know I had become such a person for interest for this forum.

I came up with a set of goals (for myself) to get into a relationship and I'm wondering what you strangers on the Internet might think, and if you have anything to add?
1) Working out. I believe that for me at least, a sound and confident mind can only exist in a sound and confident body. Bonus is you look good too.
2) Persistence. Don't be creepy or pushy, though, know when to stop. But if your will is broken immediately then who would want to be with you?
3) Emotional discipline. Don't let your feelings get out of control for one person. They're human, just like everyone else, and there's probably a better one out there if you're really honest with yourself.
4) Have fun. Don't freak out, or you'll seem desperate. Just relax, love yourself, and people will see you're healthy and things will begin to come more easily from there.

Is there anything I might be missing? Or you think I'm wrong on?

Because everyone else is. I never said what I was saying had anything empirical to it, in the same way advice elsewhere doesn't. I just said it was something to consider.

Essentially. I'm not suggesting that my advice is the truth and nothing but, I'm saying it's something you can consider. Either way, regardless of whose advice you follow, it's going to end up with the same net result.

Yes. Forget doing it for getting laid and do it for yourself.

People like people who feel good about themselves. It's normal for people to be around other people like them.

Oh please. I've gotten dates and I don't have any money, nor do I flash money when I meet women or talk to them or anything like that. Most of them just don't know I have any money.

Then they find out and they're out of there faster than you can say "but I have a great personality".

And it is entirely wrong because while money matters, is not everything. If it was, then women wouldn't be dating men of all social classes. They'd be dating the rich guys. Obviously that's not true if you go outside for a second and look around you.
