Your providing for another person because there is no way in hell any self-respecting woman is going to pay for dates or for anything else in the relationship. You're the man, you provide.



I'm not saying it's the end of the world but you can pretty much kiss goodbye any chance of dating.

Some of my best dates have been cheap wine and fast food in a public park. I'm as poor as fuck.

I'm poor as shit because I'm a student running on money fumes (I have a grand and a half to pay of tuition fees).

Is it bad that I just believe that dating will go poorly because I can't afford to do anything.
The girl I was talking to on Tinder stopped replying last week, so that's not helped anything.

I used to have it until I figured out that I don't need money to impress a woman, because what I do with my money is what matters, not impress her with my bank account; and if I can do things without money then even better. Money is a tool, you don't necessarily need it to show your character, but it's good to know you can do things with it.

Tbf, I would say you don't always need to pay for dates, but yeah, having money works out pretty well. No girl always wants to pay for a date, taking turns is wise.

Then you need to start thinking out of the box and suggest things you feel comfortable spending on.

A date is, at it most basic, hanging out with the other person and getting to know them. You don't need to go to a restaurant for that. Hell, me and my college sweetheart were always on public transportation (which is shit in Dallas) and we generally had a good time with each other even if it was us going down to McDonalds or even to a local pizza place. We always used to play it by ear, and sometimes we ended up spending zero that day because she came to my house often to hang out and just have a jolly good time.

Like I told Costa Fierro, it's not the money that's going to make you or break you, is what you do with it that will. Money will not make you more creative at dates. If you are uncreative at dates, it doesn't matter how much money you have, you're not going to get "more creative" by having more money. Money, in other words, won't make you better at dating if you're not good at dating while poor. If anything, I'd say dating while poor forces you to be more creative about what you do on a budget than if you try dating while having lots of money.

While there are women out there who want you to spend on dates, many don't, because for them a date is a time to spend with you, not with your wallet.
