Apparently the snipers shot from an "elevated position" in the rally. The entire thing is a tragedy, but also very unusual. Snipers in elevated positions aren't remotely what I would expect from BLM.

I always found this kind of statement bizarre, since it suggests that you expect BLM does have roving death squads in its employ, of a level of capability that can be "expected" somehow.

What would calling the police do? BLM is a highly decentralized movement. But that doesn't change that it's ideas are most likely responsible for this and that the terrorists are supporters of this movement. I'll stand corrected if this proves otherwise, but I wouldn't count on it.
