Exposing "social justice" brainwashing allows the invisible hand of the market to punish those educational institutions that engage in it, thus reducing the amount of this stuff that goes on. Enough of this "American exceptionalism" crap. We've done good and bad things, and schools should teach everything, not just the parts that glorify us. I think Germany has the right idea. So you see no problem with racially segregating children and all that? Because it sounds to me like that's the sort of schtick the Black Panthers were fighting against, the whole "y'all can't be around us, ya hear?" thing.

Based on my experience in public schools, such things were not skimmed over, at least not any more than other major historical events. Slavery in particular dominated in the curriculum regarding the 19th century, with the industrial revolution taking something of a backseat until we got into the decades-long lead-up into WW1. Hell, we didn't even go over the Franco-Prussian War, but the Trail of Tears was very much emphasized. In middle school, we got taught all about the Pilgrims, and how later they completely screwed over the people that helped them (something about celebrating the spirit of Thanksgiving and not necessarily the surrounding events).

Schools don't teach guilt. They need to teach the full history though. They barely cover the bad things America did, in order to glorify the nation. Enough of that. A school that segregates children, rewards people of their skin color, and forces undeserving punishment on children, making it seem as if racism in the past is somehow their fault today. Even causing children to break down and cry due to this.
