Michael Heseltine advocates a second referendum.

Yup, fear is that it will go the way of multiple EU referendums which tend to be more accessible on voting to get in, than such mechanics to get out. Which is why I do concur that some of the EU tops are quite right that the divorce should proceed with some degree of urgency.

Largely symbolic, legally baseless. More interested in getting HoC to talk about the merit of the referendum rather than thinking this will initiate a second referendum.

I know alot of people who support it, but even as a Remain supporter it feels hard to take it seriously as the whole point of a referendum is that you value the voice of the people- we were fine to accept the 1st (and hopefully last) referendum even though that involved the same things that alot of people are complaining about- being won by a reactionary old generation and having less than 60% of the vote.

And in other news, the Bank of England really needs to get a better podium. It's the same width of the door so it looks like he's speaking to the nation from behind a kiosk.

The BBC would be forced to censor that, of course.

Nobody saw this coming. No, sir.

At least a significant part of the Leave voters appear to have a plan: harass anyone who is too Polish or too coloured in order to do their part to escalate the worldwide refugee crisis.

Leave was not in power either. Due to a looming constitutional Crisis, the queen has announced she will handle the negotiations directly.

If it's between Her Majesty, Boris Johnson and Vote Leave. I think I trust the Queen more. While we're at it Jean-Claude Juncker along with the rest of the EU senior figures should be before the throne, asking for a good deal and bending the knee.
