The petition was started by a Leave supporter, but that's about it. Bunch of people on the thread argued about Islam for a while, and out of boredom we're currently devising how a devolved London & Co might work and what it would be called.

My mum (who works for DWP) still doesn't quite believe me that I believe that a number of employees with the agency I worked at sacked off work on the result day to celebrate.

I admit I have no evidence whatsoever - it's just a series of logical inferences.
Though on results day in the canteen at work, there seemed to be a lot of balanced discussion occurring and even much more Remain sentiment (or at least, anti-Leave but non-voting due to misinformation and mistrust) than I anticipated.

ANd the best part: many of THESE refugees actually truly have degrees and usefull skills. So finally Europe will get that influx of doctors and engineers it was promised.
