It's opportunism at its finest. The only thing they hate more than LGBTs are Muslims so when this happened they got to act like they were on the side of LGBTs all along and wailing crocodile tears while bemoaning how the country is too SJW to crack down on the Muslim Menace.

Saying "maybe we should restrict gun ownership" isn't politicization, it's attempting to find a solution to the problem. The people who are using this to push for discriminatory policies and xenophobia are politicizing the tragedy though, especially since most of them are homophobes themselves.

Who are these opportunist, Anti-Muslim, Anti-SJW and Anti-LGBT people?

But what he's trying to say is this time right after these murders should be a time to mourn, reflect, pray, and to come together in love and peace. The arguing can wait at least a week. Besides, everyone is too angry and emotional right now, trying to argue such things right now will only end with everyone getting warned and/or banned.

Look, if going after guns is just people trying to solve the problem, then going after radical islam is also trying to solve the problem. Both are politicized, really, with people who have fought for gun control before trying to use this to advance their cause, and with people who have fought against the spread of radical islam using it to advocate theirs.
Either neither are both are politicized, its up to how you define it, but don't arbitrarily decide the solution you don't like is politicized but the one you do like isn't.

Apparently Chic Fil-A opened on Sunday to give free food to those giving blood and to first responders. So do you think this is a clever business ploy or do they actually care?

I literally had to turn off my computer and go do something calming after reading that Ted Cruz released a statement calling for Democrats to "stand up" for LGBT people by supporting a full-on shooting war with Daesh... when in November he and Jindal had no problem sharing a stage with a pastor who, merely moments before introducing Cruz, said that gay people were "deserving of death".
