Promote rejection of the hadiths accepted by Sunni and most sects of Shia Islam if we wish to change the religion. Promote Quranism as a start.

Indeed. I once met a gay Iranian and he told his story that he had to flee in the middle of the night and leave everything. He said it wasn't the goverment or the "morality" police that were coming to get him. Luckily he had friends in Europe and the US which is where he lives now.

Well considering that I lost a friend at that shooting, I have a right to be pissed.

There are no "Moderate" Islamists/Muslims. There are Westernized, Apathetic, and Hardcore Islamists. The claims about Moderates being the majority who are against such acts are deliberate lies. Westernized Muslims, who are ok with Israel, gays, lesbians, and trans existing, are such a small minority, easily the smallest group of them all.

The so called "Moderates," are actually apathetic people who don't really care if something bad happens to others, because they are not subject to such horrible acts on the fact that they believe that the West and it's denizens deserve it. These comprise of the majority and they are far more likely to support the Hardcore factions that call for the beheading of gays, and stoning of women who walk outside alone.

Anger is a weakness and never justified. That's a very cynical, uninformed view you have there. I know many Muslims and all them are/would be appalled by this.

Then congrats for choosing the ones within the minority. But are they actually protesting against such actions, are they calling their senators and political representatives to stop the flow of terrorists into this country, are they actually advocating for gays to protect themselves, are they actually doing something to stem the tide of these events?

If not, then they are apathetic. I consult with my gay and transgender friends to arm and protect themselves, I call my democrat and republican political representatives to take certain stances in these events so crap like this doesn't happen again.
