Having a mental illness (who are victims of violent crime more than they are perpetrators of violent crime, compared to the general populations), having a certain skin colour (doesn't make anyone more likely to commit violent crimes), and being raised in a certain religion (again, doesn't make anyone more likely to commit violent crimes), are not.
