All that remains is to show that biological systems replicate in such a way as to satisfy the minimal criteria required for evolution to apply to them, something which has already been adequately shown time and again. At this point, we've pretty much proven that not only can evolution happen, it pretty much must happen since it's basically impossible to prevent it from happening.

Probably any time some ITG thinks they can bully site staff or Max into bowing to their demands with the ever popular "I'MMA SUE YOU!" Because those are invariably hilarious.

Didn't somebody try to bribe moderation with a paltry double digit sum once. Pity there isn't more of that going on, hilarity.

Yeah, there's been a couple of attempts along those lines. Not many though, only two or three in the entire decade-plus I've been at it. But it's the legal threats that have the real hilarity; most will back down rather quickly when their bluff is called, but every once in awhile we get ones that either don't realize that isn't how the legal system works, or the ones that instead of wising up that their bluff isn't going to work then double down on it instead.

Well this is fun. A few nights ago I think I had an instant of sleep paralysis - woke up and for a moment everything was black, I couldn't move, I thought I was dead. Fun times! The problem is that ever since then, my sleepy-and-therefore-stupid mind has decided that losing consciousness = death. You know how sometimes you'll wake up in the middle of the night, roll over, and go back to sleep? I've been waking up, sinking back into unconsciousness, and then OH GOD OH GOD YOU'RE GONNA DIE WAKE UP WAKE UP NOW. I have not been having the most restful sleep ever.

Wow. I just have to deal with one persistent ban evader who thinks that making death threats at the staff will accomplish anything.
