How is it not self-explanatory?

Foreigners are going to "continue the species" anyway by having large families; we can embrace immigration of young adults from those families and still not have to worry about any demographic winter. Or if we're worried about the effects of a foreign upbringing on their role in our society, we can adopt kids instead, but adopt them after they are past the infancy stage.

Those adopted children still start as babies. Are.you really suggesting that in order to avoid hearing babies cry we shound start importing teenagers?

Here's an idea. Considering by the sounds of it, you really don't like babies, maybe you should go somewhere else. They have as much right to be there as you do, and I am always of the belief that if a complainant doesn't like it, they can leave.

Exactly, I mean I am all for correcting the ungrateful self absorbed behavior older children seem to be expressing regularly now but infants behavior is unlikely corrected by anything approaching corporal punishment

Also they're likely not yet to the cognitive stage where they can make sense of things as concepts, and only "understands" things as the sensations they present, not as ideas. (So pain for them could not yet equal punishment or discipline since concepts in general are beyond very small children. It would just be pain. Like kicking a newborn puppy, the child would not understand.)

Personally, I think the obnoxious ones are those forgetting they were once an infant and not the infants themselves. Infants should not be prohibited from acting naturally.
