Not gonna lie right wingers in the UK have absolutely no problem with strict gun control. It's a cultural thing, americans are used to having the freedom to own guns, we aren't. It's just not something we give two shits about. As far as we are concerned the freedom to own guns is not worth the price of giving every lunatic and his mother the freedom to own guns too. We respect that you like that freedom, but we have no desire for it ourselves, we like our children to not get killed while at school. But feel free to do what you want with your laws. Don't make the mistake of assuming it's a left vs right issue, the gun issue is unique to America, in the UK left and right are pretty much in unanimous agreement.

I am considering it an adolescent political Fantasy. Nothing wrong with it. Consider it an evolutionary step in your political thought. It's not a bad start.

Make sure to choose good Teachers (no no, not school teachers i mean but People and mentors from which you can learn) and develop your political thought and perception further. At some Day it WILL by all likehood become more realistic in the one or other way.

I may add that some "realistic" polticial Ideas are a LOT more "delusional" than your current one and are - or have been - become the ruling Ideology in some very real States.
