Carl Sagan, astrophysicist and atheist wrote:"Science is not only compatible with spirituality; it is a profound source of spirituality.
When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages,
when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling,
that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual...The notion that science
and spirituality are somehow mutually exclusive does a disservice to both."
"A rejection of all philosophy is in itself philosophy."

When I mustered out in 2000, me and a couple of buddies from Operation Restore Hope chartered a yacht for a week. In '92/3 we had joked about coming back and vacationing on Somalia's shark infested waters. Eight years of deployments later, a leisurely fishing trip off a scenic and peaceful east African island was good enough.

All religions are defacto Christian, perhaps with few exceptions.

Ah, I'll be perfectly fine never deep sea fishing. I almost freaked this morning because I had to canoe in a 17-foot deep lake.

It's a bunch of fictional nations, people can make any fictional religion they want. Kannap adheres to Christianity only because I'm far too lazy to go through the hassle of creating a fictional religion.

Yeah, canoes I am cool with, but kayaks make me a little nervous.
Something about going under in a craft I can get stuck in.
Im a Marine from a landlocked state.
Being on the water, even in the water, okay, but stuck under the water?
I'll leave that to the sub drivers. Call me provincial.

Go with what you know.
As a protestant myself, I can easily from both a cynical and comical pov envision fictional takes on the various schools of Christianity.
