Continually punished for ending fights rather than starting them?

people would fuck with me or hit me until i hit them and then they would run to teachers and i would get in trouble

it got the point they would just flat out make shit up and i would be like "yeah sure that's what happened"

i ended up moving to a different school eventually which massively alleviated though did not entirely fix the situation

I don't agree.

I learned to shoot when I was 11/12 years old. First on clay pigeons, then on real things.

Firstly, it teaches you respect. Because when you learn to shoot the first thing you learn is don't point your bloody gun at anyone, even if the thing isn't loaded. That also teaches you responsibility.

Secondly it is a physical skill. Shooting things isn't easy.

Thirdly if like me you also ended up shooting real life things, skinning and gutting them and cooking them, you also learn where your food comes from and the fact that fluffy animals like rabbits die so we can eat. ~

It's an all-round good thing.
