Elton John has said in an interview that Jesus was gay.
I'm sorry. I read the story and thought 'That is SO NSG.'
What do you make of it? Lifelong singleness, non-violent, way with words, very religious... Sounds like a lot of repressed gay men.
Though being called a sexual deviant for being gay is something I'm fairly used to, but the Catholic organisation whose spokesperson said:

More seriously, to call Jesus a homosexual is to label him a sexual deviant.

Surely doesn't know much about the Bible. You can't be a sexual deviant if you never had sex, can you?

The Mosaic Law was 'repealed' (so to speak) by Jesus wasn't it? And I don't think he personally said anything against homosexuality. If I recall correctly the condemnations of homosexuality in the New Testament were in the letters to the various congregations written by some of the diciples. I'll go factcheck.

The Bible speaks strongly against being gay. If someone says Jesus the Son of God is gay, they haven't read the Bible well. God spoke strongly against it. Jesus is God. So he ain't gay. I have a feeling people are saying he's gay because it's funny to them. >.>

There is actually a group of gay evangelicals in New York who published a pamphlet entitled "What Jesus had to say about homosexuality."
The pamphlet is blank.

Not all Christians believe Jesus to be God. Some of them come to the much more logical conclusion that he's the son of God.
