Why is experience a con in your book?

Because in my mind, hold a government office in the USA generally means you had to make some kind of deal, or a bribe of some sort. I don't necessarily think that Johnson is the type to do that. But the amount of rampant corruption in the Government of the USA makes me feel like anybody who has been involved with the government is more likey to support the establishment or preserve the government because they fear losing their status. Or they might be bought out by the government. I suppose I'm just extremely anti-establishment.

Johnson is also fairly Un-Libertarian in some aspects. He believes that we should force Jewish Bakers to make Nazi Cakes (or the other way around.).

And Petersen thinks you should be allowed to spend 9 months raping a woman as long as she's your mother. That's what the "pro-life" position on abortion boils down to. If you're up a woman's vagina when she doesn't want you there, that's rape. Nobody has any trouble understanding that when it's a grown man. There's no reason the rules should be different for someone who's not a grown man.

Petersen makes me sad and angry and Gary Johnson is meh. I really was hoping for McAfee. I think his aesthetic alone would be good to insert into a presidential campaign. No frills, just cocaine and hookers. God bless america

McAfee was the good kind of crazy but he probably would have gotten nothing but bad press, assuming he got any coverage at all.

Especially considering that he was a suspect in a murder in Belize.

I didn't trust McAfee. IIRC he said to some sources that he thought running for LP's candidate as the "worst thing in his life" (not sic), a bore, and also that he stubbornly would leave if Gary Johnson got elected. He also accepted a position as a CEO of some company a week before the nomination, so he didn't even believe he was going to win. Feldman, Perry, Petersen at least were authentic in their enthusiasm, I don't think McAfee ever was.

Yep, every single mention of him would be about that. Johnson might be not as extreme libertarian as some people would like but he can do a good job of getting the name out there.

It's a shame he doesn't seem very interested in helping the party, I feel like he could do some great stuff to help at lower levels. Same with Petersen.

That depends if it's consensual (cos anything consensual is obviously not rape) and if you consider embryos and fetuses to be people.

If you think embryos and fetuses aren't people yet, then it's not rape, but abortion is still fine because something that is not a person yet does not have rights.
