This is rather false.

Oh look its some pro Hillary lefty websites! If they say trump is a liar he must be!
Listen, I know he is far from perfect anyway, but look at the joke that has been every American politician for a hundred years. Hillary covers up for rape, murder and god knows what else, compulsively lies all the time, whether it is about coming under fire in Yugoslavia, or any of the other lies that simply didn't even need to exist. All these websites will happy overlook hillary's evil and corruption.
Trump is just demonized by the media for being the only one willing to take a stand against the UN, the fed, corruption and especially hillary's warmongering. So i don't take any credence from these CTR funded shill websites.

I'm not trying to paint Hillary in a positive light, but to say Trump isn't bigoted, isn't a liar, and isn't an authoritarian is to really go against well-established facts.

That must be why he keeps getting sued and contradicting himself and refusing to release his tax returns.

So, he is contradicting himself, ripping people off, and spews hateful shit?

Nice. That's what I want for a president.

That's been disproven.

Well, I figure he wasn't going to vote for him. However, it is still upsetting he isn't considering Johnson, the closet to him politically.

Johnson supports a very few common sense safety measures with guns, but he's actually very friendly to the second amendment. If you think he's anti-gun rights, you've obviously only seen the few soundbites that Trump and his supporters want you to hear.

I don't understand the constant use of "common sense" in the firearms debate.

It's thrown in randomly everywhere without thought. Such lazy, ineffective manipulation.

Even if I were to concede that point, that is hardly the only context in which such words are used, correct?

I was not referencing your point in particular, by the way. Apologies if it seemed that way.

I was more musing to myself about the situation in general with your post acting as a catalyst of sorts.

But, to be frank, I don't believe common sense is a thing in the way that many seem to see it.

I have always had a problem with the term 'common sense' in any usage. What is referred to as common sense is anything but common, it is actually quite rare.

It really shouldn't be a surprise. I expect he'll fail to qualify for the third one too. At this point, it is now the objective to break 5% in order to obtain public funding.

I hate the blame game on the mentally ill.

The mentally ill rarely attack people beyond their own family. While government may be justified in banning guns from being owned by people who live in a different reality or are delusional (the common conception of mentally ill), they also in the process disarm those truly disadvantaged by the system. People, for example, with autism that are more likely to be cheated, taken advantage of, or otherwise harmed. Finally, I do not trust the government with the creation of a classification system for those who are mentally ill, and denying people their freedoms because of that. And of course, such a classification can also be abused.
