You can't "own" air, it's almost unlimited. Property requires scarcity.

For example, it is illegal currently to enact class action lawsuits against polluters. Power to the people, a class action lawsuit would be a much better deterrent than any tax.

Hans-Hermann Hoppe for the poll, mostly because his ideas brought me over to libertarianism. Although Stephan Kinsella is probably my favourite contemporary libertarian.

I intend to write "taxation is theft" on my ballot in the Australian federal election in a month's time because I think I'm edgy and voting is compulsory here

We technically own air now https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_rights

I think I agree with you on this, that does sound like a much better solution.

Unfortunately, I think "air rights" do not exist in any capacity. On the other hand, I also think it's bullshit that the US claims ownership over airspace. It's like if a government decided to carve up the Pacific Ocean for themselves, and then barred or regulated all private transport and enjoyment from it.

I think the libertarian LDP puts forth candidates no? Although that's a good idea too.

What could possibly go wrong having everyone with mines, booby traps, and their own personal tanks?

This sounds like an epic idea for an RP that will end in doom.

I'll probably vote LDP in the Senate (if they run candidates in my state) but I don't think they run candidates for the lower house elections, which is why I'm going to spoil my ballot for that one.

Leyonhjelm is obviously my favorite libertarian outside of the USA. He's hilarious. +1

Good show. Write in yourself, after all who is better to run your life than you?

Nah. I support the legalization of essentially everything besides rape and involuntary pedophilia (No, I'm not a fucking pedophile. I abstain from sexual activity.)

It'd be very interesting, I can't wait to get a tank and reactivate the gun personally.

I might also Form 1 a few landmines eventually but I'm not entirely sold on that one.
