It's written by a former Salafi, Dennis (Abdulkarim) Honing. Didn't know he distanced himself from political Salafism, good from him.

I read something like that a while ago, a white German former Salafi wrote a refution of someone. Don't quite remember the details, though, just that he was a Salafi.

This verse doesn´t say that you can´t be friends with Christians and Jews, quite the opposite, you´re allowed to do so, however, what this verse actually says, is: One cannot treat a Christian or a Jew as so important that if they ask you to betray Islam, you do it. No, you you can't do that.

Not really, this appertains to literally every unbeliever, because every group is essentially backing up and advancing their own beliefs. It's a self-defense mechanism typical to every society.

I think some liberal, reformist Muslims do exist, but there isn't much of them, and they don't have much scriptural support, if at all.

Then those people are not muslims. They are rather people who western values have rubbed off on positively.

They might be like Christians if you think of it, they might want to rewrite Quran to make it suit the Western values and still call themselves Muslims. Either way, I don't think there would ever be a reformation, though some reformists might exist, although, I personally think that at this point, a pro-Western "Muslim" would rather advocate for conversion to Christianity, or something.

Actually, despite of jokes we have here, Germans are actually scientifically VERY funny. They laugh at a larger variety of joke/types of funny things than most other Europeans.
